Manufacturing Design and Tooling Specialist

Responsibilities :

• Support production processes with the fabrication, modification, and upkeep of precision tooling—including dies, fixtures, jigs, and related components.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tooling designs and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Machining problem solving that involves tooling
• Designing and producing indexable tooling
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on tooling equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain documentation for tooling modifications and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings to determine tooling specifications.
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines lathes, mills, grinders) to produce tooling components.
• Prototyping on occasion
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
