Applied Scientist

A company is looking for an Applied Scientist to lead the development of advanced machine learning solutions in healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, deployment, and scaling of advanced ML models leveraging NLP and generative AI

Identify high-impact opportunities for ML and automation, collaborating with product and engineering teams

Mentor peers and establish best practices in experimentation and model evaluation within the Data Science organization

Required Qualifications

Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering

6+ years of experience as an Applied Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Data Scientist

Proven record of delivering ML / AI models to production with measurable business impact

Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions
