Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. This full-semester contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized, one-on-one nursing care within a school environment. The role involves working directly with a medically fragile student who requires comprehensive health support throughout the school day, approximately 31 hours per week. Responsibilities include : Delivering tracheostomy care and managing ventilator settings Administering continuous G-J tube feedings and changing ostomy bags as necessary Monitoring and responding to seizure activity, including administering nasally delivered seizure medication when needed Managing respiratory treatments such as nebulizer therapy Providing care related to adrenal insufficiency and oxygen therapy Ensuring compassionate, vigilant support for a wheelchair-bound pediatric student Qualifications and experience required : Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR / BLS certification Proven experience with tracheostomy care, especially in pediatric settings Familiarity with managing complex medical devices and conditions in school-aged children preferred Ability to work effectively within an educational setting while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Location : Onsite in Anoka, MN Benefits include : Competitive weekly compensation Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans 401(k) retirement savings plan for long-term financial security This position calls for a dedicated RN skilled in pediatric and respiratory care, ready to make a significant impact on a student's health and educational experience.
