We are currently seeking a Data Scientist Specialist for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration : 12+ Months Contract

Location : Remote (10% Travel to Sunnyvale, CA)

Salary : $75.00-$80.00 / Hourly

Primary Skills : AI / ML

Role Description : The Data Scientist Specialist must have 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities and Skills include :

• Data science background statistical modeling, econometric modeling, stress testing / CCAR models, PPNR models.
• R programming experience to create graphical representations or simulations of data as well as conduct analysis of that data.
• Other job duties include designing statistical models, formulating procedures, and providing technical assistance for clients.
• Linux experience (i.e. some technology / programming experience).
• Data preservation and decommissioning execution experience.
• Be able to tell what a Windows operating system versus a Linux one represents, what is the difference between a database storing structured data vs. non-structured data.
• Recognize the differences and challenges between an application hosted on-prem vs an application hosted in the cloud, distinguish between archiving vs migrating data between applications.
• Understand the difference between a database table vs a database record, be able to explain what the SQL language is used for.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and clients, ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral, ability to work in a team environment.

Brief :

Education : Any / Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Minimum 8+ years of experience

Relocation : This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel : 10% travel to CA

Local Preferred : Yes

Note : Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
