What You'll Do as a Collections Representative :

As a Collections Representative, you will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts and maintaining positive customer relationships. Key responsibilities include :

• Sending correspondence to customers to encourage payment of overdue accounts.
• The Collections Representative will confer with customers to determine reasons for delayed payments and review terms of sales, service, or credit contracts.
• Notifying the credit department when customers fail to respond or resolve outstanding balances.
• Recording financial status updates and documenting collection efforts.
• Receiving payments and posting amounts to customer accounts.
• The Collections Representative will maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on all collection activities.
