24-hour call coverage (with no supervision required)

Practice Requirements :

• Specialty Skills

Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Experience Required

High-risk and low-risk pregnancy management

• Routine deliveries, C-sections, and complex deliveries (e.g., breech, VBAC, multiple births)
• Proficiency in interpreting fetal heart rate monitoring
• Ultrasound skills (Level I and Level II for viability and anatomy scans)
• Skills in minor and major gynecological surgeries, including IUD placement, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, laparoscopic procedures, and laser certification preferred
• Management of third- and fourth-degree laceration repairs
Qualifications :
• License

Must be licensed in Pennsylvania

• Board Certification

Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; fellowship preferred but not required

• Certification Requirements

ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS are not required for this role

Additional Information :

• Support Staff

Includes a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for first call coverage

Facility averages approximately 1,590 deliveries annually

• Travel & Lodging

Nearest airports include Pittsburgh and Latrobe. Lodging arrangements will be made by the facility.
