Senior Designer

A company is looking for a Senior Designer.

Key Responsibilities

Design original covers for the Norton paperback list and select Countryman Press titles

Track and manage the status of all assigned projects

Communicate effectively with editors and the paperback committee throughout the design process

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of professional design experience in the publishing industry

Deep understanding of cover design across multiple genres

Exceptional typography and visual judgment, demonstrated through a strong portfolio

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and current design tools

Must be able to work full business hours in the Eastern Standard Time zone (EST)
