We specialize in the safe and efficient transport of goods across the United States. As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a skilled Certified Welder to join our dedicated team. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and integrity of our fleet and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating strong welds on a variety of heavy equipment attachments and machines, and will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, following safety protocol and working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Position Overview:
The Certified Welder will be responsible for performing various welding activities, including repair, maintenance, and fabrication work on company vehicles, heavy equipment, attachments for heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, with certifications that attest to their skill and knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, trailers, trucks, and other equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
• Ensure all welding jobs are completed in a timely manner and meet the quality standards set by the company.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections of welds to ensure durability and safety.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest welding techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Welding from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a welding role.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
