Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Special Education Teacher specializing in early childhood education within a self-contained elementary school setting. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with high needs, particularly those with autism, in a day program format. The position operates onsite in an engaging classroom environment designed for small groups capped at eight students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide tailored instruction using the STARS curriculum and behavior support strategies.
• Develop, implement, and facilitate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Lead and support paraprofessionals in achieving IEP goals.
• Collaborate with team members, including non-certified staff, in IEP writing and meetings.
• Manage a caseload that includes Kinder transition IEP meetings starting in January.
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to the developmental needs of preschool students.
