We’re looking for a Sales Engineer, a key part of our Sales process to join our Chandler, AZ office and support our electric vehicle charging infrastructure team. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities to achieve individual sales objectives by performing the following duties: Proactively build and develop a strong customer network to increase sales potential and meet sales goals, own efficacy of the sales process from start to finish and with a sense of urgency, and Utilize CRM in HubSpot to track and move business through the pipeline and sales process for accurate forecasting.

This position has a first-year base salary of $100,000 and an expected first-year OTE of $120,000 - $180,000. Second-year OTE is $185k+ with continued growth from there. This position includes regular nationwide travel to customer facilities. This is an in-person role out of our Chandler, AZ office.

• Generate new business and leads on an ongoing basis.
• Quote prices, negotiate terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Work with customers to create EV charging solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
• Work to find new sales leads through business directories, client referrals, etc.
• Collects sales data to track effectiveness of outreach efforts and changes approach to improve results.
• Respond to current and prospective client about products, installation, pricing, and lead times in a manner that adheres to sales practices and supports clear communication.
• Understand and communicate incentive programs/offerings to customers, when appropriate.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and keep manage account.
• Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM database.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or two plus years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven track record of strong sales experience is required, preferably in a B2B environment. Familiarity with electric vehicle charging infrastructure or other electrical contracting disciplines.

A valid, insurable driver's license is required.
