[job_card.job_description]Certified Surgical Technician (CST) duties in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) including Endovascular, open heart, and Thoracic specialties. Coverage includes Hybrid Operating Room (Hybrid OR) requiring combined surgical and interventional skills. Must have current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start. Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years. Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start and updated yearly. Completion of Ascension Surgical Technologist Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation prior to clearance. Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted. Fit Test required, preferred prior to start, updated annually. Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination signed and dated by traveler. Influenza vaccine required during flu season; exemptions accepted with mask requirement. Positive IGRA or PPD results with chest X-ray within a year and annual TB questionnaire. Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually. Driver's License / State ID must be valid and match address requirements. 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing required within specified timeframes. Documented proof of Varicella immunity or vaccination; no declinations accepted. Tdap vaccination valid for 10 years; no declinations accepted. Ascension Profile (resume) required for submission. At least two professional references required prior to first assignment. Completion of Ascension Criminal Background Check within 30 days prior to assignment. Completion of Ascension EPLS within 90 days prior to start. Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually. Completion of Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually. Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start. Ascension Confirmation of Assignment documentation required upon initial assignment and updates. Third-party employment verification for past seven years required and updated annually. Monday through Friday schedule. On-call required to cover Hybrid Operating Room. Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Endovascular, open heart, and Thoracic specialties Hybrid Operating Room requiring combined surgical and interventional skills
