About the Role

The Company is in search of a dynamic and experienced Tax Director to lead its Finance team. This pivotal role is focused on overseeing the company's tax planning and compliance to enhance profitability and ensure long-term sustainability. The Tax Director will be responsible for managing and facilitating tax reviews, developing tax savings strategies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, a minimum of 7 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role, and a strong background in tax review, compliance, and research, particularly in Gift, Trusts & Estates, and High-Net Worth Individual tax returns. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Candidates for the Tax Director position at the company must be self-motivated and self-directed, with a proven track record in tax planning and compliance. Proficiency in tax preparation software and reporting tools is required, along with a strong knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations, and familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
