About the Position Position Specialty : Med Surg RN Shift : 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a, with holidays as needed Ratios : 1 : 6 Beds : 54 Weekend REQ : Every other weekend Is on-call REQ? (Y / N) : No Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs / float between like units / sister facilities? Yes Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 2+ years of Med Surg experience First-timers accepted : (Y / N) : Yes License REQ : SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certs REQ : BLS Required; ACLS Required Special Requirements : IV start skills required, Tele / management of cardiac gtt experience preferred Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y / N) : Approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Local Radius : 60 miles Locals Accepted : (Y / N) : Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions for Client Offers : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds : 119 Scrub Color : Royal Blue Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Free in any unrestricted space. Front entrance / ER entrance of the hospital is parking area D (located on a hill). If traveling via Roberts Street, the parking area is located to the right when entering the hospital parking area. • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
