Director of Acquisitions

Duties

• Strategic asset analysis identifying new and value-add investment opportunities.
• Ability to understand opportunities to acquire and develop across all major land uses - retail, multi-family, office, warehouse, etc.
• Ability to discover under-utilized properties in top tier markets with upside through redevelopment.
• Evaluate markets, conduct site visits, and have a thorough understanding of locations, potential strategies, and operational plans and requirements.
• Assist with the development of property business plans, budgets, and pro forma strategies.
• Developing and growing relationships within brokerage and ownership communities in target markets.
• Partner with in-house financial analysts in financial underwriting requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ plus years of proven acquisition experience
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in related field
• Working knowledge of contract law, zoning law and real estate finance
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Must be a motivated, self-starter with ability to productively work in a team environment effectively communicating and sharing information with people in other departments within the company
• Effective communicator (written and oral) with strong presentation skills Construction experience required
