[job_card.job_description]Proficient in the use of measuring tools MS Office products Experience Ability to read, write, and converse in English 3-5 years experience in inspection role 2+ years related experience within sheet metal manufacturing environment or 5+ years related experience within a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with and working knowledge of ISO, AS standards and specifications. Knowledge of basic statistical process control Experience with ERP systems is a plus Must be able to lift forty pounds without assistance on occasions Must be able to sit, stand and move around continuously 100% of medical, dental, vision and life expenses are covered (how many companies can say that?) Responsibilities :
- Ensure work area is safe, organized and clean
- Ensure all measurement equipment is operational and calibrated
- Verify incoming material and components; (Cert verification / visual condition / physical measurements)
- Performs FAI in accordance with AS9102C
- First part verification
- Performs in process inspection
- Final inspection prior to shipping to end customer
- Documents inspection results
- Collaborate with production team on quality related issues
