Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,366 per week in Merced, CA

Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8H Days Hours per Shift : 0930-1800, Monday to Friday Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : - Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. - Ability to circulate during procedures. - Knowledge of balloon pumps is a plus. - Experience with STEMI cases is beneficial. Description : This position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit currently operates with one catheterization lab, with plans to expand to two. Daily case volume can range from 0 to 6 cases. The RN will be responsible for circulating during procedures, but scrubbing is not required. Candidates should have experience to assist in training new nurses. Familiarity with procedures such as PCIs, peripheral interventions, diagnostic catheterizations, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters is necessary. The RN must also hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. All STEMI cases will be redirected to a nearby facility. Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on case demands. Charting is primarily conducted using Cerner. No on-call shifts are currently mandated.
