As a Security Officer - Armed Campus Patrol in Rock Hill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a secure environment within an educational location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and engaging with staff, students, and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $20.21 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to the location, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or situations, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • Have an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
