Our client is a leading healthcare organization with upcoming classes for Customer Service Reps in San Diego, CA. These are onsite, temporary positions (6-month contracts), but could extend based on performance and solid attendance records.

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
  • Pay Rate : $23-24 / hr based on experience
  • Duration : 6-months with potential to extend
  • Location : San Diego, CA 92108
  • 100% onsite

Responsibilities :

  • Handle Inquiries :  Answer and document a high volume of incoming contacts, including complex calls related to specialized products or services.
  • Provide Professional Support :  Respond professionally to all inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Investigate and Resolve Issues :  Initiate contact with health plan personnel and other relevant departments to gather information, and then evaluate the data to determine the best course of action to resolve the issue.
  • Document Everything :  Accurately document all communications and actions according to established procedures.
  • Follow Procedures :  Meet customer needs and expectations by following established procedures.
  • Customer Service :  Actively promote and provide exceptional customer service that is consistent with the organization's standards.
  • Compliance :  Uphold compliance standards and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of customer information.
  • Member Core :  Facility inquiries, web support, ordering ID cards, and complaints.
  • Member Advantage :  Eligibility and benefit inquiries, adding / removing dependents, and addressing complaints.
  • Premium Billing :  All billing inquiries, making payments, and addressing complaints.
  • KPC Billing :  Handling inquiries about 1095 tax forms and other billing-related matters.
  • Microsoft Office, Epic (EMR), Data entry
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of customer service handling high volume calls
