This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an exciting opportunity to support elementary students with mild to moderate needs in Ramona, CA. The contract runs from ASAP through June 4, 2026, with a caseload of 21 students. This role requires an active California mild/moderate credential and the ability to deliver individualized instruction within a structured and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet the diverse needs of assigned students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
• Monitor and document student growth and communicate regularly with stakeholders
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success

Qualifications:

• Active California mild/moderate special education credential is mandatory
• Experience working with elementary students in mild/mod special education settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, individualized education programs (IEPs), and differentiated instruction techniques
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with families and educators
