About the Role :

Join our dedicated team at Senior Care At Home Edmond as a Professional Caregiver with Dementia Experience. This rewarding position allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in our community while providing compassionate care and support.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide personalized care and assistance to clients with dementia.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and document changes in client behavior and health status.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance cognitive function.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.

    • Requirements :

  • Experience as a caregiver, preferably with dementia patients.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Background check and references required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
