Pay : $32.19 / hr

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years avionics / electrical experience OR 2 years aviation electronics schooling + 2 years experience
  • A&P license preferred
  • FCC certification preferred
  • NCATT certification preferred
  • Ability to read / interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot wiring and components
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to climb stairs / ladders, work in confined areas, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Preferred proficiency in additional aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, etc.)

    • What you’ll do

  • Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics / electrical systems
  • Install and functionally test electrical and avionics components per engineering specifications
  • Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques
  • Execute engineering changes, modifications, and functional checks
  • Set up and operate required test equipment and evaluate system performance
  • Document all work accurately and ensure readiness for inspection
  • Maintain test equipment, comply with FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety protocols
  • Adapt to changing schedules and support additional duties as needed
  • May participate in aircraft certification and final phase flight tests
