Job Summary
The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations, driving membership and training revenue, delivering exceptional member experiences, and leading a high-performing team. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring an individual who is passionate about fitness, leadership, and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a results-driven team (coaches, front desk, trainers)
Conduct daily staff huddles, weekly KPI meetings, and ongoing performance evaluations
Foster a culture of accountability, proactivity, and collaboration based on core values
Sales & Member Growth
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals (memberships, personal training, retail)
Oversee fitness consultations (FCs) and ensure >
70% booking rate at point of sale
Track and drive show and close rates for all appointments and training packages
Implement outreach campaigns and generate 5+ referrals per day from team efforts
Operations & Member Experience
Ensure the club is clean, safe, fully operational, and meets brand standards
Maintain member satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and consistent engagement
Monitor Google reviews and social media presence (target : 3 new reviews per day)
Marketing & Community Outreach
Plan and execute local marketing initiatives (corporate outreach, events, promos)
Represent the club at community events and build partnerships with local businesses
Manage in-club promotions, signage, and Club OS lead follow-ups
Reporting & Administration
Analyze and report on key metrics (leads, sales, FCs, EFT growth)
Ensure staff utilize Club OS effectively for follow-ups and lead management
Collaborate with ownership on financial targets and club initiatives
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Membership Sales and Net EFT Growth
Personal Training Revenue & Close Rate (goal : 35%+)
Fitness Consults Booked at POS (goal : >
70%)
Referral and Review Generation
Staff Sales Call Quotas (30 per day minimum)
Qualifications
2+ years of fitness or retail leadership experience preferred
Proven ability to lead and develop a team
Strong communication and sales skills
Comfortable with tech systems (Club OS, Evolt, CRM platforms)
CPR / AED Certified (or willing to obtain)
