Corporate Controller Corporate ControllerPosition Overview
Seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead all accounting operations and support a fast-moving, technology-driven organization. This role is responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes that align with the companys growth. The ideal candidate brings deep SaaS and FinTech accounting expertise, strong command of GAAP and ASC 606, and a proven ability to build modern, automated accounting functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations
- Oversee all core accounting activities, including full Quote-to-Cash (QTC) and Procure-to-Pay (PTP) cycles.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to deliver accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements.
- Ensure proper application of revenue recognition standards, including ASC 606.
Financial Reporting and Controls
Prepare and review financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.Develop and maintain internal control policies to safeguard company assets and support scalable growth.Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary contact for external auditors.Cash Flow and Operational Finance
Monitor cash balances, forecast cash needs, and optimize working capital.Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to improve collections, payment cycles, and operational efficiency.Support procurement processes, including vendor negotiations and internal workflow improvements.Systems, Automation, and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Drive automation initiatives across QTC and PTP, ideally using next-generation AI tools.Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting workflows, reporting, and system integrations.Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and external advisors on revenue recognition, tax strategy, and financial compliance.Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team.Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.QualificationsRequired
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with Active CPA license.8 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth tech, SaaS, or FinTech environments.Minimum 4 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.Advanced knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and complex revenue recognition.Big 4 public accounting experience, including completion of at least four audits with unqualified opinions.Certified NetSuite professional with 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite implementation and optimization experience.Experience improving AR, AP, and working capital performance.Experience leading or supporting full QTC and PTP automation initiatives.Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Preferred
Additional certifications such as CMA, CGMA, CSCFP, COBAF-P, or CPIM.Experience with procurement processes and vendor management.Experience working with external advisors on revenue recognition and tax optimization.Benefits
