Position Overview

The Tax Associate will support clients across a wide range of tax matters, including business, individual, and estate-related issues. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex tax concepts into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on federal, state, and local tax matters, including planning, compliance, and controversy.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, opinions, and detailed analyses on tax issues.
• Assist with tax aspects of corporate transactions, entity formation, restructurings, and M&A.
• Support estate and trust planning through tax-efficient structures and strategies.
• Represent clients before taxing authorities in audits and administrative proceedings.
• Draft and review legal documents, agreements, filings, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
