Contract Duration : 13 WeeksShift : DaysSchedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PMHours Per Week : 40 hoursOn-Call : Required. Participation in night and weekend call rotations is mandatory.Weekends : Call only.🔬 Qualifications and Requirements :
Certification / Registration : Must be currently registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body (e.g., CCI).Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Experience : Minimum 1 year of professional experience as an Echo Technologist is required (Traveler experience preferred but not mandatory).🏥 Key Responsibilities :
The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing various non-invasive, cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of heart conditions. Duties include, but are not limited to :
Performing high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE).Assisting with stress echocardiograms and / or Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) as needed.Accurately measuring, calculating, and documenting study results.Maintaining echocardiography equipment and ensuring proper calibration.Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.Adhering to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.Responding promptly and professionally to all assigned call duties.PHS-5271
