As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in the military health care team, you will leverage state-of-the-art technology to assess, diagnose, and treat Soldiers and their families. Your role may involve researching pertinent medical conditions, engaging in educational efforts, leading medical teams, executing patient care initiatives, and participating in health promotion programs. By joining the military Dental Corps, you will not only contribute to the well-being of Soldiers and the country but also gain access to unique opportunities such as supporting humanitarian missions, receiving leadership training, and enjoying a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications Required :

  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an American Dental Association (ADA)-accredited dental program in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Canada.
  • Completion of an advanced specialty education program in oral & maxillofacial surgery accredited by the ADA and recognized by the Surgeon General.
  • Aged between 21 and 42 years (waivers may be requested).
  • A valid license to practice dentistry.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
