This role is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, including general cardiology and diagnostic catheterizations, with a commitment to both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide general cardiology care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interpret results
  • Participate in inpatient call coverage and hospital consults
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists within the Palomar Health network
  • Engage in preventative care and patient education

    • Requirements :

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
  • Fellowship training in Invasive Cardiology
  • Valid California medical license
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in inpatient call rotation
