Security Officer

As a Security Officer in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and tenants. Pay Rate : $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What Youll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or circumstances to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as directed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized individuals and promote a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to support a consistent security-related presence and assist with site operations as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
