The Life Insurance Coordinator will respond to policy inquiries regarding basic policy details as well as processing data entry transactions. The incumbent will be required to be self-driven, with attention to detail, and produce high quality written customer responses. This role will embrace collaboration objects by participating in daily functions related to life insurance policies under, new business, policy services, correspondence, and accounting. The duties assigned to this position will require entry level life insurance understanding.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Will be required to train and assist in processing in the areas below: All policy services requests; beneficiary, ownership, collateral assignment, welfare, and replacement changes. Policy specific accounting requests. Daily life policy payments received. Balancing and basic payment transactions. Life New Business inquiries and issuance of contracts. Reinstatement requirements and follow-ups. Interact with representatives, policy owners, and internal departments. Various other life queries aligned with job enrichment and departmental objectives
- Will need to assist with training new hires and existing employees periodically.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four or more years of experience.
- Prior insurance and/or banking experience (2-3 years preferred)
- Working knowledge of basic accounting functions and/or bank procedures

Salary for this position can range from $39448.50 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $59163.00 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
