Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Details :
Advanced scheduling available four weeks in advance for predictable work hours.Supportive culture promoting mutual respect and collaboration among the surgical team.Continual investment in surgical equipment ensuring you can deliver the best care with a focus on patient safety.Team engagement through regular meetings with unit leaders for suggestions on care and workflow improvements.On-call duties required during specific non-business hours.Responsibilities :
Assess and evaluate patients before surgery.Educate patients and their families about procedures and the peri-operative process.Prepare patients, including administering IV therapy and verifying surgical sites.Follow hospital protocols for surgical site verification, including briefing and debriefing procedures.Respond to patient emergencies as needed.Provide high-quality, patient-centered care while adhering to evidence-based practices.Collaborate as part of a dynamic healthcare team including surgeons and surgical technologists.Utilize the nursing process and critical thinking skills to deliver safe, effective nursing care.Monitor patient conditions during shifts and document changes thoroughly.Assist in educating patients and caregivers about medical conditions and follow-up care.Qualifications :
