French Consulting is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the military community in the southern Virginia area. Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe high-quality medical support and supporting interdisciplinary teams. Your efforts will directly contribute to positive patient outcomes and mission success.

What Youll Do

Patient Assessment & Care

• Provide deployment health screening services to all service members either individually or in groups at the clinic or at the Line unit.
• schedule initial and follow-on appointments or referrals for service members.
• Accurately document all patient medical support and assist patients in completing forms in electronic systems or paper backup forms.
• Ensure patient results are accurately input into required systems and proper handling filing and storing of all completed forms in the patients medical record.
• Become proficient with a variety of on-line patient and Military Treatment Facility systems for accurate data recording.
• Contact Line Commanders and schedule initial screenings in coordination with MTF processes.

Qualifications

At least one (1) letter must be from a physician or supervisor who has personally observed and evaluated you and who can attest to your clinical skills in the care of patients.
