Shift Opening(s) : Monday - Sunday / 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

Rate of Pay : $19.60

This is NOT an armed security position. Weapons are not permitted on the premises, including in personal vehicles parked on the premises.

About the Job :

As a Security Officer at DK Security, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. Your duties will vary depending on the specific contract, offering a diverse and challenging work environment. Security officer duties include the following :

• Customer Service : Be a positive reflection of the company and yourself by assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report : Stay alert and be on the lookout for any suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence : Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in and around building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Security Officer : Conduct foot and / or vehicle patrols of your assigned areas performing security officer duties as required.
• Access Control : Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas, check employee and vendor IDs, and follow proper access procedures.
• Safety Patrol : Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors, enforcing the policies and procedures of the assigned location and reporting any safety concerns.
• Emergency Response : Be ready and able to assist in emergencies, including the administering of CPR / First Aid / AED care and communicating with emergency personnel using the proper protocols.
• Security Liaison : Maintain professional communication with the client staff, follow through with client requests, and keep the site supervisor / operations manager updated on all client communications.
• Control Center Operators are expected to be available for call ins 24 / 7.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications :

Note : Current employees on active disciplinary probation are not eligible for this position and will not be considered. Employees who have been previously removed from the contract governing this position will not be considered. Previous employees who were on disciplinary probation at the time of separation will not be considered.
