Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Machine Specialties, LLC (MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing company that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company is located in Whitsett, NC, about 8 miles outside of Greensboro, NC.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position that reports to our Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience with preventive maintenance practices and procedures to ensure safety, along with equipment reliability and longevity.

Monday - Thursday 5 : 00pm to 5 : 00am - 15% Shift Premium

Key Responsibilities :

• Conducting preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Prioritizing safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Diagnosing mechanical issues and troubleshooting equipment failures to identify root causes.
• Repairing or replacing defective parts and components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Efficiently managing tasks and prioritizing maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Effectively communicating with team members, supervisors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities, report issues, and request support or resources.
• Being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, equipment requirements, and work environments.
