Job Description :
- Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping receiving storing and distribution of materials parts supplies and equipment.
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices maintains records of received goods rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Holds ability to handle items (up to 45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks height adjustable carts etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.
- Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
- Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with Harrisspecific Environment Health and Safety policy / procedure in regards to material handling.
Qualifications :
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.Holds active CDL Class A / B licensePreferred Additional Skills :
Experience working in a warehouse and / or production environmentHolds active CDL Class A / B license with Hazmat experience.Good written and verbal communication skillsForklift ExperienceFamiliar with MS Office applications specifically Excel Outlook and WordAbility to maintain a high degree of accuracyExperience with MRP and Agile / PDM software toolsOrganizational skillsExperience with DOD property accountabilityIn compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado State is $21.39 / hr- $39.66 / hr.
