Description : Purpose of Role
We are seeking a full-time Group Leader to be part of our Operations team for both first and second shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are seeking someone who can learn about our products and be able to lead a team. This position will report directly to the Area Manager.
This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual in a fast-paced, high-growth delivery network. This role will maintain the company culture, values and strategies by leading their team in change efforts, continuous improvement initiatives, safety awareness, and fostering team and individual development

- Supervise and lead production team members by enforcing proper work procedures, managing daily work schedules, and streamlining workflow to ensure timely and efficient fulfillment of production goals.
- Consistently adhere to Condair’s Quality Program by prioritizing customer expectations, proactively preventing issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the organization
- Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment efficiency, and product quality to optimize operational performance and ensure high standards of output
- Plan, promote, and coordinate professional training initiatives focused on product knowledge, ensuring team members are equipped with the skills and expertise needed to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction
- Propose enhancements to working conditions and equipment utilization to boost departmental efficiency and improve the productivity of work crews.
- Collaborate with fellow supervisors to align departmental activities, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient cross-functional operations.
- Assist with the setup and calibration of machines and equipment to ensure smooth production startup
- Promptly report machine and equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager to minimize downtime
- Travel may be required periodically for training purposes to Canada and / or overseas.
- Adhere to Condair’s Quality Assurance System and Health and Safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Professional Skills, Qualifications and Competencies
Education and Experience :
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment is required.High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredGeographic Location :

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.Ability to Reason :
Strong planning and organization skills are required. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work, set targets and make decisions.Computer Skills :
Knowledge and experience with : Manufacturing software / ERP, MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.Math Skills :
Basic math skills : ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphsCertificates / Licenses :
A valid and up to date passport, and the ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally is required (including Canada and overseas)Other :
