As a Nights Labor and Delivery Nursing Manager, you will have a crucial role in overseeing the clinical and financial performance of your unit. You will represent the Director of Nursing and collaborate closely with nursing leadership to promote exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day operations of the Labor and Delivery unit.Ensure the recruitment and retention of qualified nursing staff.Foster a professional and positive work environment.Align departmental goals with the overall strategic plans of the hospital.Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops.Qualifications :
3+ years of experience as a Charge Nurse, Care Coordinator, or Supervisor.Strong leadership and effective communication skills.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Registered Nurse license in Texas (or Compact License with Texas license to be obtained within 90 days).Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (required within 90 days).St. David's Medical Center is a premier medical facility located in Central Austin, providing a full spectrum of services including a renowned Level IV maternity unit, comprehensive stroke center, and a variety of surgical procedures.
