[job_card.job_description]Work night shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM 2 weekends required per schedule Work into the permanent staff holiday schedule Nurse-to-patient ratios : 1 : 3 for stepdown patients, 1 : 4-6 for floor patients Unit has 32 total beds (12 stepdown beds and 20 floor beds) Required to read telemetry strips in conjunction with monitor techs Manage typical medical-surgical population including chest pain, COPD, altered mental status, pneumonia, UTI, abdominal pain Handle overflow patients from most services and hospice patients Manage drips in stepdown area, PCAs and heparin on floor May float to any floor or stepdown unit as needed Dress code requires royal blue scrubs Use EPIC charting system BLS certification required BSN degree not required Up to 2 shift cancellations allowed per 13-week contract Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility Referral bonus
