Salary : Job Purpose
As a vital part of our team, the Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery and removal of containers to both residential and commercial customers. This role requires the efficient operation of company vehicles, maintaining safety standards, and delivery of excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform complete pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues to management to ensure reliability and safety.
- Safely operates a truck along a designated route and to delivery areas. Follow maps and route sheets to ensure timely and accurate service to all customers.
- Operates manual and automatic controls in accordance with company safety policies to lift and load containers at the CWS facility.
- Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely manner.
- Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in the container yard.
Minimum Requirements
A valid drivers license is required.Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment.Must have a clean driving record.Qualifications

The Delivery Driver may work in various conditions and can be exposed to extreme heat, cold, humidity, precipitation, dusty conditions, mechanical parts, electrical hazards, hazardous chemicals, and noxious fumes and odors in both indoor and outdoor environments.
