What You'll Do as Our Controller

Oversee daily financial operations and ensure timely, accurate reporting that reflects our commitment to transparency.

Lead monthly and annual close processes, safeguarding the integrity of all financial statements.

Present clear, strategic financial reports to executive leadership-helping guide decisions that affect real lives.

Partner with department leaders to build mission-aligned budgets and forecasts.

Ensure full compliance with nonprofit regulations and financial policies.

Lead, mentor, and support our accounting team-nurturing a culture of accountability and development.

As the Controller , drive improvements in financial systems, automation, and efficiency.

What We're Looking For in a Controller

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).

At least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role, preferably in the nonprofit sector or with grant management experience.

Deep knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices.

Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, mission-first mindset.

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with adaptability to nonprofit financial systems.

Analytical, ethical, and solutions-oriented.
