Schedule Details :

Self-Scheduled

Shift : 3rd Shift (7 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)

Schedule Requirement : 2 Mondays, 2 Fridays, 1 Weekend per 6-week schedule, and 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)

Role Overview : As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will gain valuable experience by working in various units, including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU, all within Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. This role offers variety and opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Adapt seamlessly to diverse unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence.

Engage actively in patient assessments and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

What We're Looking For :

Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred).

Flexibility to meet the schedule requirements detailed above.

Training & Skills Development :

RNs will receive training in :

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (Stroke Scale)

IV Ultrasound

Charge Nurse cross-training to enhance leadership skills.

Licenses & Certifications Required :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Educational Requirement :

Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.

Required Functional Experience : Typically, 1 year of clinical nursing experience is needed.

A holistic patient care approach with strong critical and independent decision-making skills.

Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
