A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative responsible for collections, account follow-up, and billing allowance posting.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up with payers to resolve outstanding claims and ensure timely billing
Monitor and update patient and financial information for accuracy
Analyze and resolve issues causing payment delays and initiate appeals as necessary
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2-3 years' experience in insurance collections and hospital / facility billing
Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing, including relevant coding systems
Experience with various workflow systems and client host systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
