  • Greet customers and escort them to tables.
  • Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about menu items.
  • Make recommendations for food and beverages.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals.
  • Remove finished plates and silverware.
  • Present checks and process payments (cash, card, etc.) accurately.
  • Clear and reset tables for the next guests.
  • Communicate orders clearly with kitchen and bar staff.
  • Coordinate with other servers and staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Inform the kitchen of any food allergies or special dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Perform side work, such as rolling silverware and polishing glasses.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
  • Get management involved when necessary to resolve issues.
