The Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is recruiting a full-time
- academic surgical pathologist with subspecialty expertise in thoracic pathology.
- BIDMC is a tertiary care facility with 743 licensed beds and an internationally renowned principal teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School with NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center-affiliated Cancer Center.

In addition to strong diagnostic skills in surgical pathology, expertise in molecular diagnostics (including NGS and FISH) is desirable. Strong interest in further developing the crucial role of Pathology in clinical trials is a plus, including new companion diagnostics.
The successful candidate will join a team of faculty, residents, and fellows to provide world-class diagnostics at BIDMC. Additionally, the candidate will support the vibrant training programs, including pathology residency program, and surgical pathology fellowship programs.
Applicants must be board certified in Pathology (AP or AP / CP).
