Job Title : PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Randall Manor, Staten Island, NY 10310

Contract Type : Per Diem Nursing Job

Shift : 12 Hour Night Shifts

Minimum Commitment : 1 shift bi-weekly (minimum 2 shifts per month)

Duration : 52-week contract

Employment Type : Local, On-Site Healthcare Position

Pay Rate : $109.74 / hour

Estimated Weekly Salary : $880–$930 / week

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PACU, post anesthesia care, or acute care nursing

Current and valid BLS certification

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PACU RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures

Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a clinical setting

Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely healthcare documentation
