POSITION : Commercial Drywall Estimator LOCATION : Fremont, California
COMPANY OVERVIEW : Join a leading commercial drywall contractor in the thriving Bay Area market. Our client has an established reputation for excellence in commercial construction and maintains a culture focused on growth, innovation, and work-life balance.
POSITION SUMMARY : We're seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our client's preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quickbid (QB) software, with a focus on projects exceeding $1MM in value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using On-Screen Takeoff
- Prepare comprehensive estimates using Quickbid software
- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Analyze construction documents to identify potential issues
- Coordinate with project management team on bid strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals
- Participate in scope review meetings
- Support value engineering initiatives
- Conduct job walks and pre-bid meetings
