Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least one year of Home Health experience and a valid state license if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Home Health setting providing therapy services to clients in their homes
  • Average caseload of 5-20 patient visits per day
  • Service area covers a 40-80 mile radius
  • Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, with every 6th weekend required
  • Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
  • No on-call or floating required
  • Mileage is reimbursed at $0.55 per mile
  • No more than 7 days of requested time off permitted during the 13-week contract
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Grey scrubs are required
  • Return staff and extension policies apply per assignment duration rules
  • Face fit testing and immunization requirements may apply

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year Home Health Physical Therapy experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Valid state PT license required; pending license accepted in some locations (license required if applicable)
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must be able to travel within a 40-80 mile territory
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
