We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular in Michigan.

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : 12-hour shifts (day / night combination); 24-hour shifts available if desired

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : December 2025 (potential extension based on recruitment)

Position Details :

Patient Population : Adults (18+)

Setting : Hospital-based CVICU

Responsibilities :

Manage daily census of 9 patients

Work autonomously in CVICU

Provide day and night shift coverage (no call)

Collaborate with supervising physician onsite (day) or via phone (night)

Required Procedures :

Central venous and dialysis catheter placement

Arterial line placement

Chest tube insertions

EMR System : Epic

Support Staff : Physician support available (on-site or via phone)

Days Per Month : Varied

On-Call / Weekends : No call; weekends as needed

Submission Requirements :

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP) Required

Acute Care NP certification Required

BLS and ACLS Required

Active Michigan license Highly preferred (open to licensing)

Minimum of 2 years of CVICU / cardiovascular experience Required
