[job_card.job_description]High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience with staff and patient scheduling in a medical office setting Strong ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions Experience using EPIC Experience with UKG scheduling systems
Position : Scheduler
Duration : 13 weeks
Location : 8767 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA
Schedule : 8-hour shifts between 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM; 1 weekend day per month required
Responsibilities
- Manage time-off requests for a busy outpatient office
- Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments
- Complete physician referral work queues in a timely manner
- Handle physician correspondence, forms, authorization requests, calendar management, and transcription need as assigned
- Prepare charts and review, update, and maintain patient demographics and insurance information
- Collaborate with the billing team by providing requested audit information and ensuring surgical reports and charges are submitted appropriately
- Coordinate with Workers' Compensation Adjusters and Case Managers to obtain authorizations and ensure timely documentation completion
