Sterile Processing Tech (Manager)

Location : Asheville, NC

Schedule : Evenings

3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM (Hours may vary based on department needs)

Salary : $52,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)

Sign on bonus : Case by case

Relocation Assistance : Starting at $5,000

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sterile Processing Tech (Manager) to support and lead our Sterile Processing Department. In this role, you will help oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality sterilization practices, and support a safe and efficient environment for our patients, surgical teams, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department.
  • Lead, train, and guide team members to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and evaluating staff.
  • Ensure compliance with sterilization standards, infection control, and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Required :  Two-Year Surgical Technology Course  or  CRCST / CSPDT certification
  • Preferred :  Associate or Bachelor’s degree
  • Required Certifications :  CSPDT or IAHCSMM  REQUIRED
  • Minimum  3 years  of sterile processing experience  REQUIRED
  • Minimum  2 years  of Manager experience  REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of OR instruments, aseptic technique, and infection control
