A behavioral health program is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide inpatient coverage on an adult mental health and substance-abuse unit. This is a daytime locum assignment with a Monday-Friday schedule and no call.

About the Opportunity :

  • Shift : Days
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Setting : Inpatient behavioral health
  • Patient Population : Adults (mental health & substance abuse)

Responsibilities :

  • Managing adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting
  • Conducting assessments and follow-up evaluations
  • Supporting patients with mental health and substance-related conditions
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Documenting patient progress and treatment plans

    • Qualifications :

  • Relevant clinical experience in Behavioral Health
  • Master's Degree
  • CT Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) license
  • Active DEA registration
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience in Inpatient Psychiatry
  • Suboxone certification
  • Familiarity with Interdisciplinary Behavioral Health models
  • Strong patient-centered approach
